Enhanced Bike Rider

Driving Standards Agency Enhanced Rider Scheme

Enhanced Motorcycle rider development takes many forms.  This course is ideally suited to newly qualified riders or those returning back to biking after an                                                                    extended break.

Not only have we been on the Governments Driving Standards Agency,(DSA) Register of Post-Test Motorcycle Trainers (RPMT) since it began and deliver training in accordance with their guidelines. This course exceeds their requirements as our Director is a member of the National Diploma team with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents who deliver this course for advanced instructors wishing to gain access to the DSA register.

There is no formal enhanced motorcycle rider qualification but should you select the one-day course you will find this a very worthwhile introduction to "ROADCRAFT" - the police riders system of motorcycle control.

After an initial briefing and a re-cap of some fundamental techniques, you will be taken on the road for an assessment and a demonstration ride before receiving tuition along a variety of roads.

At the end of the day you will have a good understanding of the principles of advanced riding with your instructors recommendations regarding your future development.
