Visit Isle of Man Services

Although we have built a reputation for our regular training courses conducted in the Isle of Man we have been privileged to meet some of the most fantastic individuals associated with the most helpful organisations you could wish to work with including...

  • The Isle of Man Government (Minister - Adrian Earnshaw)
  • The Arrandale Hotel (Rose & Theo Flurbaar)
  • The Isle of Man TT Marshals Association (Chairman Terry Holmes)
  • A.R.E. Motorcycle Museum (Tony East)
  • Jason Griffiths Motorcycles
  • Pro-Ride Motorcycle Training (Ian Graham)

...and many more.  Many of these visitors have returned many times with their friends and families. We have had some really interesting international requests for all kinds of things involving visits to the island that we have decided to highlight them and offer them to all comers.

Listed below are some of the requests we have had where we pulled out all the stops to make them happen...

International (Norway) Shipping Company Directors.

We collected ten directors from the airport in a mini-bus, rented four bikes and took two parties around the circuit. Entertained them all day after their business management meeting before delivering them all to the airport for their journey back to Norway.

International (Australia) Sports Reporters.

We collected them at the airport during race week. Ferried them around as pillions to the most advantageous venues to cover the racing each day and delivered them back for their flights.

Bespoke Advanced Motorcycle Courses

We have taken several private parties and couples on bespoke visits to the Isle of Man which included advanced rider training and holiday combined.

International (California) Private Family Visitors. Lisa & Steven Yon.

Both Californian university professors. Whilst touring the UK with their 13 year old son as a 50th birthday present for Steven who had always wanted to come to the TT and was interested in developing his skills as a rider. We met in Liverpool and took them out for dinner. Came across and conducted a training course with Steven whilst my colleague drove Lisa and her son around the island with all it's wonders. Lisa, a geology professor was delighted with her trip and more so as her husband developed skills he didn't know he had.

RoADAR Merseyside Treasure Hunt Weekend

We asked if any of the members of our local RoSPA Advanced Riders and Drivers Associiation would like to join us at the end of one of our training courses for the weekend. WOW we could not believe the response when 44 Members immediately signed up.

They joined us with wives and motorcycles for the weekend and filled the Arrandale Hotel, Douglas to capacity.  Rose & Theo managed to find rooms nearby for the overflow.  We organised a Chinese banquet in Peel on Friday night followed by a 'night-ride' along the coast and over the mountain.  Something which many of them had never experienced before.

On Saturday we put together an island wide 'treasure hunt' calling in for clues at...

Rushen Abbey - Castletown - Calf of Man - Cosy Nook at Port Erin - Ramsey Swinmming Baths - Laxey Harbour - Tywald Craft Centre - Silverdale Glen - Jurby Junk and others along the way.

Tony East at A.R.E motorcycle museum in Kirkmichael was kind enough to open up for the group and treated us to afternoon tea on the lawn and a ride around in his vintage outfit

On Sunday the group explored the Island on their own and stocked up with 'T' Shirts before catching the late crossing.  The group enjoyed themselves so much that it was decided to run it every year and was fully booked before we left for home. Our thanks to averyone who welcomed us on the island.

National Magazine Competition (BiKE)

We arranged with the Deputy Editor of BiKE Magazine and the kind assistance of the Isle of Man Tourist Board for the use of the grandstand to conduct the penultimate round of 'Britain's Ultimate Rider Challenge' where we judged eight of the successful candidates on their fast, safe road riding.

The then Minister for Tourism, Adrian Earnshaw was kind enough to arrange for us to base the competition HQ in the 'press suite' at the grandstand as well as giving a guided tour of where HONDA first appeared in the Isle of Man TT, going on to share his memories as a child for an article called "50 Years of Honda in the TT"

Southern Knights Motorcycle Club

One of the most pro-active groups of riders I've ever had the pleasure to ride with. We arranged to pick them up on the last leg of a UK tour in Liverpool and bring 18 of them over to the Isle of Man an share the magic all week. One of the members flew his girlfriend in to join them on this special part of their tour. The general feeling was that it was the best trip they had ever been on and would definately be back next year with double the numbers.  One of their most experienced riders remarked "this is without doubt the most I have ever enjoyed motorcycling in over 30 years"

Scotish Oil and Gas Industry Workers

Two of our previous customers from the Scotish Oil and Gas industry having been across on our training course several times asked if we could arrange to guide them around with a friend on a revist.

Word got around within their industry and before long seven more coleagues signed up as the group grew.  They didn't think twice from the recommendation about riding all the way from and back to Aberdeen. Not only will they all return but four of them will return on our training course.  It really is the best place in the world to train.
