'NO LEGAL REQUIREMENT'...
to be registered with the Department of Transport executive department, the 'DRIVING STANDARDS AGENCY' as an 'approved motorcycle instructor' other than the training of 'learner riders. There are also ways in which individuals can legitimately train learners without qualifications.
Although some individuals may be well meaning and possiibly quite good at what they do, they may well not hold any kind of insurance for what they offer.
We have outlined below the most common qualifications for instructors.

Regrettably we no longer have time to deliver any 'learner' training programmes but have been responsible for countless motorcycle passes and instructors qualifying at DSA learner level over the years, many of whom have gone on to open their own training schools throughout the country and we are happy to advise and direct you to them.
